1. Chips used in LED strips:
chips are made in China and Taiwan, as well as imported chips (including US chips, Japanese chips, German chips, etc.). The price varies greatly from chip to chip. At present, the most expensive is the US chip, followed by the Japanese chip and the German chip. The moderate price is the Taiwan chip. What chip is used specifically? What effect do you want to achieve? Be sure to know before you buy.
2. LED Chip package:
divided into resin package and silicone package. The price of the resin package is cheaper, because the heat dissipation performance is slightly worse, the others are the same. The silicone package has good heat dissipation, so the price is slightly more expensive than the resin package.
3.The consistency of LED color:
At present, there are many packaging factories in China, there are thousands of large and small, and of course there are strengths and weaknesses. There are many small packaging factories that do not have a split color separation machine, so they either do not separate the color separation or are outgoing, so it is difficult to guarantee the quality. LEDs that have not been separated by color separation have poor color consistency. The effect of lighting on LED strips is not so good. Of course, the price difference is relatively large.
4.LED welding effect:
LED lamp belt assembly is divided into manual welding and machine welding two, manual welding is to use a soldering iron, the most primitive way to weld. The product that comes out of this type of operation is ugly in appearance (inconsistent solder joint size, many flux residues, solder joints are not smooth, LED package is burnt, etc.), and second, electrostatic protection measures are not good, many LED chips are broken down. Causes a slight or no light when power is applied.
The welding of the machine is different. The welding of the machine is done by reflow soldering. Not only the finished product has a beautiful appearance (the solder joint size is the same, the solder joint is smooth, the flux is not left, the LED package is intact), and the chip is not electrostatically burnt. 5.FPC material:
FPC is divided into two types of copper and copper. The copper plate is cheaper and the copper is more expensive. The pads of the copper plate are easily peeled off when bent, and the rolled copper does not. Which kind of FPC is used specifically depends on the purchaser’s own decision based on the use environment.
6. Does FPC have passed environmental certification and UL certification?
Whether the LED has a patent or the like. There are certified and patented, the price is more expensive, and the price is not cheap.
7.The brightness of the LED Chip:
Different brightness of the LED price is different, the difference between the ordinary brightness and the bright LED price is quite different. Therefore, when purchasing, you must clearly know what kind of brightness you need, so as to accurately locate your product.
8.The color of the LED Chip:
The color is different, the price is not the same. White and green are more difficult due to color matching and spectral separation, so the price is higher than other colors; red, yellow, blue and other color separations are easier, and the consistency is better, so the price is slightly cheaper. Special colors such as purple and brown are the most expensive due to color matching.
9.LED Chip size:
LEDs of different sizes, the price is different. For example, the price of LED of 0603 and LED of 1210 (ie 3528) is quite different; and the price of LED of 1210 and 5050 specifications is different.
